The AIRE approved and FAS supported purpose-built training and riding facility comprises of a 28 horse barn, feed room, tack room, large indoor arena (60 metres x 30 metres), outdoor arena (58 metres x 30 metres), gallop track and 12 acres of grazing.

The Equine Unit is a very busy yard which does career training up to BHSAI, a pre-race industry programme, has its own Pony Club branch, runs local horse riding lessons, hosts regular pony camps.

In addition the Equine Unit has a leaders programme and works with special needs groups within the local region.

Equine Facilities

There are 28 stable at the centre, managed by equine staff and stable maintenance staff. We hope to offer reduced rate riding lessons for staff.
