Cherry Orchard Integrated Youth Service Ethos

Cherry Orchard Integrated Youth Service is an inclusive, vibrant, person centred organisation. We aim to engage young people in activities and processes which stimulate them physically, socially and spiritually and which develop decision making skills and personal autonomy. Our service complements the formal education system by offering a broad range of informal education and training opportunities to all young people.

Aims and Objectives

• To provide a comprehensive youth service for young people between the ages of 10-25 years living in Cherry Orchard.
• To encourage a multi-agency response to the needs/issues that are encountered by young people in the Cherry Orchard area.
• To expand and develop the service to meet the needs of the growing population in the Cherry Orchard area as per the proposed Cherry Orchard Regeneration programme.

Target Group

Our target group is all young people living in Cherry Orchard ages 10-25 years. We also work with young people (some of whom may live outside of Cherry Orchard) identified by local agencies who may attend services or schools in Ballyfermot.
