Employability Skills
This QQI Level 3 award aims to enable the learner to develop personal qualities and strengths to make informed choices to pursue a range of employment opportunities or to progress to further education or training.
Progression Opportunities
The vast majority of Learners achieving the Employability Skills Award will progress on to one of our other Major Awards. The Employability Skills Award is an excellent starting point for Learners however it provides the foundation skills for basic entry-level employment requirements. We strongly encourage learners to progress on to further training before seeking employment.

How It Works
In our Centre, we work at your pace and an individual plan is created for each learner based on where they are at. This allows us to have a continuous intake of Learners during the year.
Our Learners receive a training allowance for attending the Centre which is a huge incentive for young people today to have some of their own income.

Criteria for Applying
- Be aged between 16 and 21
- Have finished school or be referred by your school
- Want to participate in training and education
- Priority will be given to young people who have not completed second level education
