There are lots of opportunities for volunteers to get involved with the Cherry Orchard Equine Centre.
Join Our Board
If you are interested in getting involved on one of our many committees and sharing your knowledge and expertise with us we would love to hear from you. These opportunities range from helping us to organise community events right up to joining our board of trustees.
Work Placements
We have a long tradition of taking students on placement from college from a range of courses and disciplines. If you are interested in doing your college placement with us, complete this form to register your interest and we will be back in touch.
Remember to get in early as we only have a limited number of places.
Volunteering in the Yard
We welcome volunteers in the yard to help with the daily tasks of looking after the horses and also to assist with riding lessons and therapeutic sessions
Leader Programme
Our leaders programme is for youths aged between 12 and 18 years who have an interest in horses. A commitment of at least one evening per week is usually required. Youths are fully supervised and receive training. It is great fun too!
Work Experience
We take in a number of students in secondary school on work experience placements during the academic year. Get in early as the places are limited.
