Youth Employability Programme 6 week FREE accredited course
From September 16th to October 21st, 2024, the Billionaire Brows course was successfully delivered as part of our Youth Employability Programme, held at the Cherry Orchard Equine Centre. This six-week course aimed to empower women by equipping them with essential beauty skills and business knowledge, enabling them to pursue financial independence and explore entrepreneurial opportunities in the beauty industry.
The course, taught by Sarah Naylor, an expert beauty mentor from Sarah Naylor Academy, combined both hands-on beauty training and business development strategies. It was designed to provide participants with the technical expertise needed to perform beauty treatments, as well as the confidence to start their own beauty businesses.
Course Overview
Over six weeks, participants engaged in weekly, in-person workshops where they gained practical experience in brow and lash treatments, including tinting, waxing, lamination, and lifting. In addition to these technical skills, the course also focused on essential business skills such as pricing, marketing, and client management.
Held at the Cherry Orchard Equine Centre, the course offered a supportive and professional environment where 10 students came together to learn, practice, and grow. The practical, hands-on approach ensured that students not only developed the technical skills necessary to thrive in the beauty industry but also the business acumen needed to run successful ventures.
Week-by-Week Breakdown
Week 1: Course Introduction & Brow Mapping
In the first week, we introduced the course objectives, laid out the goals for the program, and provided an overview of the Billionaire Brows Kit. The highlight of the week was learning and practicing brow mapping, which is a crucial technique for creating perfectly shaped brows. Students worked in pairs and were encouraged to practice on friends or family as homework to reinforce their skills.
Week 2: Brow Tinting & Grooming
In Week 2, the focus shifted to brow tinting and grooming. Students learned about color selection and the proper application techniques to create a defined and polished look. After reviewing homework from the previous week, students practiced brow tinting and grooming in pairs, gaining confidence in delivering professional results.
Week 3: Brow Waxing & Hygiene Standards
Week 3 was all about mastering brow waxing techniques while emphasizing hygiene and safety protocols in beauty treatments. Students received a review of their brow tinting and grooming homework and then moved on to brow waxing techniques. They practiced in pairs, applying everything they had learned to deliver professional waxing services. Students were also required to complete homework, which included using the online learning platform to learn about brow waxing and hygiene standards.
Week 4: Brow Lamination
In Week 4, students were introduced to brow lamination, learning how to create fuller, defined brows using this popular treatment. After a review of brow waxing and hygiene practices, students gained product knowledge for brow lamination and practiced the technique in pairs.
Week 5: Lash Tinting & Lifting
In Week 5, students learned lash tinting and lifting techniques, adding a new service to their skill set. After a review of brow lamination homework, students practiced tinting and lifting lashes, working in pairs to perfect their technique. The homework for this week involved performing lash tinting and lifting on a model and submitting before-and-after photos.
Week 6: Business Skills & Certification
The final week focused on essential business skills, including pricing, marketing, and client management. Students learned how to build their own client base, set appropriate service prices, and market themselves effectively. After completing their final assessments, students received accredited certificates, which qualify them for professional insurance and the ability to work independently or in a salon. Ongoing mentorship was provided to help students launch their own beauty businesses.

The Billionaire Brows course had a meaningful social impact by empowering women to achieve financial independence and contribute to local economic growth. Through this program, students not only learned valuable beauty techniques but also gained the business knowledge and confidence needed to succeed as independent beauty professionals.
