This summer, Cherry Orchard Youth Service joined the Athletics Ireland Race Series | Biofreeze Irish Runner, in partnership with Active Cities and Dublin City Sports Partnership, giving young people the chance to get active, enjoy friendly competition, and be part of a nationwide running event.

Participants from the youth service took part in various races, testing their endurance while having fun in a supportive and inclusive environment. The event wasn’t just about running—it was an opportunity to build confidence, teamwork, and a love for sport among young people.

The day was full of energy and excitement, with participants celebrating their achievements and connecting with others from the wider running community. It was a fantastic way to encourage healthy habits, personal growth, and the joy of participating in sport.

A big thank you to Active Cities, Dublin City Sports Partnership, and Athletics Ireland for organising such a welcoming and well-run event. Everyone from Cherry Orchard Youth Service left inspired, motivated, and proud of their efforts on the day.
