About CE:
Community Employment programmes are designed to help people get back to work by offering part-time and temporary placements in jobs based in local communities. The scheme is supported by the Department of Social Protection. Community employment provides training that is delivered within a Quality Assurance framework (QQI) and work experience to long term unemployed people and people who are eligible to participate. Those on CE work for an average of 19.5 hours a week. Eligibility rules and conditions apply.

CE PAYMENT RATES:
- Participating adult weekly rate €286.50
- Increase for Qualified Adult €168.60
- Children under 12 full rate per child €58.00
- Children under 12 half rate per child €29.00
- Children 12 years and over full rate per child €78.00
- Children 12 years and over half rate per child €39.00
Application Details :
- 19.5 hours per week. Monday to Saturday
- 21 years or over, in receipt of a qualified social welfare payment
- Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
- This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary.
- Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department of Social Protection
