HYROX for HOYS 2026:
Helping Young People Reach Their Goals
On Tuesday, 4th August 2026, the young people from the Equine Yard at Cherry Orchard Equine Centre will take on HYROX for HOYS, a fundraising challenge to help them attend the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) in Birmingham.
Why HOYS?
The Horse of the Year Show is one of the UK’s most prestigious equestrian events, bringing together top riders, incredible horses and thousands of equestrian enthusiasts every year.
For our young people, it’s far more than a day out. It’s an opportunity to experience the sport at the highest level, learn from professionals, discover career pathways and be inspired by what is possible through dedication and hard work.
Many of our young people have attended HOYS in previous years, and the experience left a lasting impression. This year, they’re working hard to earn that opportunity again.
Why It Matters
Throughout the year, our young people take part in riding lessons, Pony Club, stable management, British Horse Society training and volunteer around the yard. They develop practical skills, confidence, teamwork and responsibility while caring for our horses.
HYROX for HOYS is another way to challenge themselves while working together towards a shared goal.
