Summary of Experience :
I started riding at 5yrs and had my first pony at 7yrs old. Growing up, I had several ponies. From a young age, I helped out at a local riding school, which contributed to my livery and lessons.
I loved hunting and hunter trails and I also participated in show jumping
After school, I worked in a dealer/hunt yard England. Then continued my education and qualifications back in Ireland where I obtained my BHS exams.
I spent 3 months in America, riding and caring for horses in LA and learning Western riding and Perelli Natural Horsemanship at a ranch in Montana. My journey concluded in New York, where I visited Pal-O-Mine in Long Island, offering a variety of equine-assisted therapies.
I have furthered my knowledge and training in Equine Assisted Learning/Psychotherapy and became EAGALA certified. EAGALA, led by an American model, is the global leader in equine-assisted psychotherapy and personal development

Cherry orchard has helped me develop and gain more experience as a therapeutic coach. They have supported my further development and training in my career for example the horse boy method.
Cherry Orchard is a very friendly, safe, supportive place to work with great energy. They have supported me both within the organisation and outside it and for that I am very grateful. There is not a lot of equine places that put so much time into ensuring there staff are happy and supported and that is one of the reasons why I love working here. This supportive environment encourages you to always develop further and better yourself making you feel valued.
What I like about my role :
I enjoy being an instructor as I love to be able to support and help ppl in every way, whether that be personal development, or supporting their wellbeing. I am passionate about horses helping people and being a Therapeutic coach allows me to do this
